A Mindful Quest holds the philosophy that even when faced with challenges, you have an opportunity to examine and set personal goals, and experience growth. Our aim is to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your strengths and challenges, and journey together towards your goals.
Whether the challenge you are experiencing is large or small, receiving counselling from a mindfulness and strengths-based lens can create a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and growth. Counselling is available virtually by telephone or online using the Jane video platform.
If you are experiencing family restructuring and want to engage in a collaborative journey through separation and divorce, virtual coaching is available from a trained family neutral.
At A Mindful Quest the following are common counselling theories/tools that may be used: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and the Social Thinking Model. These counselling theories/tools may be helpful for people with Neurodiversity, Anxiety, Stress, and Transitions, Separation and Divorce, Work/Life/School Changes, Relationships, Parenting, Loss, Depression and other challenges.
A free 15-minute consultation is a great place to ask questions and begin your journey.
There are many pathways that you can take to move through challenges or around obstacles. A Mindful Quest strongly believes that you are the expert in your own lived experience and that you deserve a supportive and encouraging environment as you journey towards your goals.
Counselling is not a one-size fits all experience. An individualized, strengths-based counselling approach can help you discover the best therapeutic tools for your needs and empower you in reaching your goals.
